10th Annual West Stave Lake Cleanup of Burma and Florence Lake FSR's, June 2nd, 2012

Please join the Four Wheel Drive Association of BC for it's 10th Annual West Stave Lake Cleanup. That's right, THE 10th ANNUAL. Come on out, you wouldn't believe the prizes.

The day starts at 9 am and runs until 4 pm.

Last year over 75 volunteers removed over 15 tons of garbage from this road system.

Thus far, we have commitments from C&C trucking, Davies Sand and Gravel and the District of Mission to supply drivers and dump trucks to transport the garbage to the Mission dump. Mission has once again waived the tippage fees for our event.

4WDABC 2nd Annual East Stave Lake Cleanup April 21st

The numbers are in, 102 volunteers, 20 ton (20,000 lbs) of garbage and 2 ton (4,000 lbs) of steel + one Dodge Durango removed from the lower 8 km of Lost Creek FSR and spur roads.

The 4WDABC is hosting a cleanup of the Lost Creek FSR in the East Stave Lake area on Saturday, April 21st, beginning at 9 am.

The staging area will be at the Davis Lake turnoff which is approximately 3 kilometers after Sylvester Road turns to gravel, on the left. 9 am will be the meet and greet along with general orientation and 10 am will be the cleanup start.

Hello 4x4 Lovers,

A new deposit system will go into place on Monday (March 5) for 4x4 users who wish to obtain a key for the gate to the Eagle Mountain trails (top of Parkway and Plateau Blvd). There will be a sign posted at the gate which says the lock has been changed and a deposit is now required to obtain a new key.

Please go to the Animal Shelter (500 Mariner Way) to pay the $50 deposit. The Animal shelter will verify payment on an Agreement form which you will take next door to the Public Works Yard Reception. Reception will have the you fill out the form and provide ID and registration before giving you a key. They are open Mon - Fri from 9am - 4pm.
