What We Do

The Four Wheel Drive Association of British Columbia is a registered non-profit society that advocates for Public Access to Public Land.

To this goal, we’re involved in active stewardship of our back country:

  • Maintaining TEN Rec Sites in BC so that avid off-roaders can use them free of charge:
  • Actively working to have the Stave Lake mud flats designated as an official “mud bogging area”
  • Building and upkeep of the Hale Creek shelter
  • Rebuilding/repair and maintenance of the NahatlatchCornwall, and Mount Lavina fire towers
  • Holding two clean-ups each year at Stave Lake, taking out over 200 tons of garbage the last 5 years
  • Hosting 20+ maintenance runs per year
  • Development of the Stave Lake Motor Park & Thunder Mountain in Kelowna
  • Hosting runs to take out Burn Survivors and Big Brothers & Sisters for the day
  • Eagle Ridge Key Access Program
