My name is Jeff

I enjoy driving FSRs and back country roads. I have done Hale Creek run (the hard way) on my last trip to the coast.

I have loved the outdoors and exploring all my life.   Growing up in the Kootenays as a kid I spent a lot of time hiking, riding, and camping in the mountains.

Since moving to northern BC I have grown to love 4x4ing and exploring the backcountry.  I am lucky to share my love of the outdoors with my husband and 3 kids.

I got involved with 4wdabc about 2 years ago after purchasing a Toyota 4runner. I had big plans of wheeling, fishing and camping further into the backwoods of the lower mainland and beyond. After going to the first maintenance run to the shelter at hale creek I was hooked. By going to a few of the newbie runs I'm way more confident in my off road driving abilities. Now I get out into the Bush about twice a month minimum. 

The backroads are calling me!! It's so much fun and relaxing to get away from the city with friends and family and to help newcomers discover the joys of backroading. So far I'm concentrating on every corner of our province. By the way, my call sign is VA7BKC when out there.
