I am pleased to release your 2016 AGM Minutes.
They can be found at the following link:
Below you will find a few highlights from our year in review, one of the major changes you will see coming in the following year is an increase in membership dues to $25. More information will follow in the near future.
1. In March 2015, 4WDABC had roughly 300 paid members, one year later, March 2016,4WDABC has roughly 757 paid members.
2. Tough Rock 4x4 (Richmond) joined as club membership.
3. Regional membership has been outstanding with strong moves to Vancouver Island and Kelowna areas, which both hold long wheeling histories. It will be important for the Association to maintain focus on both areas in the coming year.
4. Kim sat as Director on Board for Recreation Council of BC (Provincewide Council dedicated to uniting recreation clubs including but not limited to: 4x4, Hikers, Cavers, Bikes, Equine), to provide input and understanding from the 4x4 community perspective.
5. BC Sportsman Show 2016 Had recordbreaking membership renewal/signup with 172 activations (Kim didn’t even have to “hardsell”)!
6. Important that the 4WDABC finds a number of committed “Grassroots” volunteers this year, willing to step out from local level to provincial scale: helping to explore new areas of involvement

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who came out and helped with the East Stave Lake Clean Up Today.
In total we removed over 5,000 KG of Garbage and recycled Metal from the area. This was done through the work of 3 very full dump trucks, and several individual loads taken my the volunteers.
We'd like to thank Wanda of C & C Trucking, Tobi of K&K industries, and Dean of Davies Sand and Gravel for their spending the day with us and hauling the garbage to the Mission Dump. Without your efforts we couldn't make the difference we did.
We'd also like to thank Robert Czerniec for his continued support of our events and offering his amazing Chef services for us the entire day, the chili, burgers and smokies were amazing.
Thank you to Arron Boulter for bringing out the truck and crane, was cool to watch it lift up the pieces of the burnt out boat and put them in the dump truck.
Thank you Ryan Chang for helping get the trailer out there and back, along with the clean up efforts and getting everyone back at the end of the day, for us in Kim's absence and Brenda for helping throughout the day in ensuring things were running very smoothly and organized as you always do.
Thank you to Adopt a Block Mission for their continual support and lending of the pickers and vests.
As well a huge huge huge thank you to all of our volunteers, approximately 72 of them, who ventured out on a day without the greatest weather, to brave what you would find when you were cleaning up. Finding new ways to use the muscles in your body to pick through the garbage, bring your kids out so that the younger generation would understand how important it is to make a difference. Without your efforts, we could not do this.
We'd also like to thank Savage Concepts Canada for their unplanned visit, and donation of a hand held light bar. They are our newest Corporate Sustaining Member with more info to come. I did a draw of all the people who were at the event and Gary Lange was the winner. I will work on contacting him to arrange to get the prize to him (or someone knows him, please have him PM me)
Again huge thank you to each and everyone who was there, and if I have missed anyone in this note - my sincerest apologies.
On March 12th, 2016 the 4WDABC held their 3rd Pub Night Fundraiser held at Jimy Macs Pub.
This years event was another huge success. Together, with the help of our members, sponsors, and donors we raised the amazing total of $1700.00!! .
That helps enable us to continue with our community events, garbage clean-ups, rec site and trail maintenance, etc.
All this wouldnt have been possible with out the help of our sponsors.
We'd like to say ahuge thank you to the following list of people. Without your help, this wouldn't have been as succesful.
We also encouorage our members and supporters to frequent the business that support the association.
